Laurence Hart - Founder / President

Laurence was born in Queens NY and raised in Central New Jersey. He has a well balanced sense of artistic vision mixed with a strong sense for business and the enregy to sustain both.

He is the founder of launchingpad.com a web design and hosting company that unlike many internet web service oriented companies, does not take all business that comes his way. Projects are hand selected by Laurence and his staff to assure individual attention. He has been the webmaster for numerous web sites and has extensive knowledge of most graphic arts and web design applications.

He has also served as Technical Director for a major Human Resource software application, where he perfected the networking skills necessary to succeed. "This business was based on customer service" and it is not uncommon to see this founder / CEO take part in everyday web tasks.

In recent years launchingpad media emerged to help independent promoters find artists in the NY area through a clean, professional presence on the web, and now he brings that philosophy to Music Forte, a new venture for the launchingpad. "It is natural to combine my recent work in web design and implementation with my love for music and music promotion. Matthew specializes in 3-d animation/rigging, modeling, texturing and lighting while also developing and maintaining web sites. His educational background is not only extensive but unique. He earned his Masters of Science degree at N.Y.U. in Digital Imaging and Design, his Certification in Computer Animation from N.Y.U., and his Bachelor's degree in engineering at Rutgers University. This unique combination affords him the benefit of training in analytical thinking, the animation skills from studying the classical principles of animation, and the creativity of learning the 3-d production process.

Since then Matthew has modeled 3-d characters for a digital children's storybook, was in charge of lighting, modeling and texturing with outdoor companies, and created animations, including rigging, for various companies ranging from one of the most popular underground rock/metal bars in N.Y.C. to multi-million dollar real-estate firms.

Matthew was also the lead singer of a signed rock/metal band and currently is the lead singer of a metal tribute band here in N.Y.C.

Evan Klimpl -VP , Artist Internet Promotions, Senior Applications Development

Following a career in computer programming and database development, Evan Klimpl has spent the past decade designing and implementing numerous websites and conducting internet promotions specializing in email and web distribution. His work and ideas have been implemented on some of the top financial website message board systems.

He has also written articles and features for various publications on a full spectrum of topics. Finance, technology, moderen culture, religion, politics and the music industry have all been covered in his insightful work. Combining a diverse range of interests and experiences, there is nothing Evan won't tackle!
